The National Food Safety Training Program (NFSTP)
This course is offered in co-operation with the Canadian Restaurant and Food Services Association (CRFA); the emphasis is on areas that contribute most directly to food; protection and the causes and prevention of food-borne illnesses.
Certification
The training program includes a national examination to test sanitation knowledge and successful participants will receive a wallet card. An important part of the certification procedure is the registration of NFSTP graduates at CRFA offices |
