SmartServe
The SmartServe training program gives liquor servers the information they need to understand and Implement the sides of responsible service. This four hour course includes topics such as recognizing signs of intoxication and the server's responsibilities and obligations under the law. In the province of Ontario, anyone 18 years of age or older can serve alcohol, however you must be 19 years of age to consume. It is therefore Georgian College policy that anyone 18 years of age or older can take the SmartServe course.
